How To Use
Build your seating chart without the spreadsheet headache
🚀 Getting Started
1
Set Up Tables
Choose how many tables and seats per table. Standard rounds fit 8-10 guests. Long tables fit 12-14.
2
Add & Assign Guests
Add each guest with their meal choice and table number. The dashboard shows capacity and flags over-full tables.
3
Check Meal Counts
The meals-per-table view gives your caterer exact plating numbers for each table. Print and hand to them day-of.
4
Seat The Unseated
The unassigned view shows who still needs a table. Don't leave anyone floating — especially Great Aunt Martha.
📊 Terms Made Simple
Table Capacity: How many guests each table holds. Round tables: 8-10. Long/banquet tables: 10-14. Don't squeeze extra chairs — tight tables = unhappy guests.
Over-Capacity: When a table has more assigned guests than seats. This is flagged in red. Either move guests or add a chair (if the venue allows).
Meals Per Table: The exact count of each meal option at each table. Your caterer needs this to plate correctly — wrong counts = wrong dishes served.
Head Table: Where the wedding couple + wedding party sit. Usually Table 1 or a separate sweetheart table for just the couple. Seat this table first.

⚠️ This is a planning tool. Confirm final seating with your venue coordinator. Table numbers should match table markers at the venue.
