How To Use
Monitor your kidney function daily, understand what helps and what doesn't.
๐Ÿš€ Getting Started
1
Log Your Hydration
Measure your water intake in glasses. Consistency matters โ€” track daily for patterns.
2
Track Your Diet
Monitor sodium, potassium, and phosphorus intake based on your stage and doctor's guidance.
3
Monitor Medication
Track your medication adherence. Missing doses impacts your kidney health trajectory.
4
Read Your Score
Your Kidney Health Score combines all markers. Above 75 = Optimal. Below 40 = Alert.
๐Ÿซ˜ Kidney Health Explained
Kidney Health Score (0-100): Combines hydration, sodium control, swelling, sleep, CKD management, and medication adherence. Above 75 = Optimal. 55-74 = Stable. 40-54 = Watch. Below 40 = Alert.
Hydration: 8-12 glasses daily is typically optimal. Less hydration stresses your kidneys; excessive can be harmful at advanced stages. Ask your nephrologist for your specific target.
Sodium Control: High sodium raises blood pressure and damages kidneys. Aim for low intake unless advised otherwise. Read labels โ€” sodium hides everywhere.
CKD Stages: Stage 1-2 = mild; 3 = moderate; 4 = advanced; 5 = end-stage. Track your stage and discuss any changes with your doctor immediately.
